Airline GSA & station representation — United Arab Emirates

Cargo-weighted representation at Dubai World Central plus full passenger and station coverage at Abu Dhabi.

OMAA · AUH
Zayed International Airport
Abu Dhabi

The UAE is two different commercial propositions in one country. Al Maktoum International (OMDW) is where freighter capacity, charter and overflow traffic find room and where the cargo community has consolidated. Abu Dhabi (OMAA) is a full-service passenger and cargo gateway with a large corporate and government travel base.

LFS represents carriers at both. At OMDW the mandate is usually cargo-led: capacity placement with Dubai's forwarding market, supervision of the cargo handler, and ramp attendance on freighter turnarounds where every hour of ground time is priced. At OMAA the mandate is more often a conventional passenger GSA plus supervisory station package.

Dubai International (OMDB) can be covered under the same agreement where the airline's schedule requires it; we hold handler relationships across all three fields.

Frequently asked
Why does LFS lead with OMDW rather than OMDB for cargo?
Al Maktoum International has the freighter infrastructure, ramp space and warehousing depth that cargo mandates need, and slot pressure is materially lower than at Dubai International. OMDB is still available under the same agreement where the airline's schedule requires it.
Can LFS represent a carrier in Abu Dhabi and Dubai together?
Yes. A single UAE mandate can cover OMAA, OMDW and OMDB, with one reporting line and one invoice rather than separate agents per emirate.
Does the UAE mandate include supervisory station work as well as sales?
Yes. Commercial representation and supervisory station management are both available, individually or combined.
Who handles the authority side?
LFS deals with the GCAA and the airport operators directly, with permits and slots filed by our own desk.
