Crew & Passenger Visas, Travel Documentation

Documentation checked before departure, not discovered at the immigration desk.

A trip is only as good as its paperwork. Crew arriving without the right visa category, an expired GCA licence copy on file, or a passenger whose passport validity falls inside the six-month rule can stop a departure that was otherwise fully planned. LFS reviews documentation as part of trip preparation, for every country on the routing, including technical stops.

We advise on visa requirements and categories for the crew and for passengers by nationality and by station, flag visa-on-arrival and eVisa options, prepare and file general declarations, and keep passport, licence, medical and certificate expiry dates on the crew profile with advance warning before they lapse. Where a station requires pre-notification of crew details, we submit it inside the local deadline.

Crew rest is arranged alongside the documentation: vetted hotels within duty-appropriate distance of the airport, negotiated crew rates, blackout-curtain and quiet-floor requests, late checkout for night departures, and transport timed against report time rather than a generic pickup. Layover changes caused by slot moves or AOG are re-booked by the same duty controller managing the trip.

Where we deliver it
Worldwide

At every airport, worldwide. LFS-operated stations are staffed by our own teams; everywhere else the service is delivered through agents we have vetted and audited, coordinated by the same LFS duty desk so you deal with one operations contact rather than a chain of suppliers.

Frequently asked
Do you issue visas?
No — visas are issued by the authorities concerned. We advise on the correct category, prepare supporting documentation and coordinate with the sponsor or handling agent where local support is required.
Can you re-book crew hotels after a delay?
Yes. The duty controller managing the trip re-books rooms and transport when a slot or schedule moves.
Do you store crew documents?
Only what is needed for the trips we handle, held securely and shared only with authorities and agents that require it.
