OMDB airport slots and landing permission are distinct
Dubai International is identified in the UAE AIP as an IATA Level 3 slot-coordinated airport. Airport Coordination Limited allocates airport slots; Dubai Civil Aviation Authority determines landing permission. Maintain separate references and statuses for these requirements. Neither approval should be presented as a substitute for the other.
LFS coordinates requests and communicates responses rather than allocating slots or granting landing authority. The operator must verify the intended flight against all applicable conditions. Review the effective AIP, amendments, NOTAMs and Dubai Airports general aviation conditions for the operating date instead of treating any one published edition as permanently current.
Send one consistent Dubai movement brief
Provide the operator, registration, aircraft variant, flight identifiers, origin, destination and UTC arrival and departure. Explain passenger or crew entry, transit or aircraft changes. State expected parking duration rather than leaving it inferred from an arrival request. Identify firm details and provisional assumptions to prevent inconsistencies across slot, permission and handling requests.
List arrival and departure separately, include overnight needs and flag limitations affecting equipment or stand servicing. Nominate a contact authorised to decide on changes. LFS can coordinate a common brief, but each authority and provider must confirm its own part. A single trip reference improves traceability without combining separate approvals.
Validate the ground plan independently
An allocated slot does not itself confirm parking, passenger processing or all requested services. Confirm handling scope, ground equipment, fuel and transfer arrangements. Show unresolved stand or passenger-route assignment in the trip record. Published H24 handling or fuelling hours do not allocate personnel, equipment or specialist support to an individual aircraft.
Maintenance support needs separate review and prior arrangements where applicable. Provide the actual defect or assistance requirement through the operator’s approved process. This page does not establish a formal airport partnership or guarantee a supplier’s availability. Dubai International OMDB/DXB and Al Maktoum OMDW/DWC are different airports; do not transfer permissions or service assumptions between them.
A Dubai schedule change affects several dependencies
Review the allocated slot, landing-permission conditions, parking interval and service bookings when arrival or departure moves. Record what was requested and what was accepted. An extended overnight stay may leave arrival unchanged while affecting departure coordination, stand occupancy, crew transport and fuel timing.
LFS can circulate revisions and track responses. The operator must assess operational consequences and decide whether to retain the itinerary. The final station brief should include current movement details, separate references, provider contacts, accepted services and pending items. Charts, AIP provisions and ATC instructions govern taxi and pushback; a coordination message is not an aircraft movement clearance.
Operational planning questions
Does an ACL slot include DCAA permission?
No. Slot allocation and landing permission are separate requirements at OMDB. Verify each for the intended operation.
Does H24 mean immediate availability?
No. Published service hours do not allocate equipment or personnel to your flight. Confirm aircraft-specific scope and timing.
Can OMDB arrangements be used at DWC?
No assumption should be made. OMDB/DXB and OMDW/DWC are separate airports with their own arrangements and permissions.
Can LFS issue taxi or pushback clearance?
No. Current operational publications and ATC instructions govern aircraft movement. LFS can coordinate preparation and ground support.
Operational references
Reviewed 23 October 2026. Current AIPs, NOTAMs, authority decisions and written provider acceptance govern the actual flight.
Send your operational requirements
Provide your route, aircraft details, UTC schedule and required services. LFS will review the request and confirm the proposed coordination scope, documentation and commercial terms. Acceptance remains with the relevant authority, airport and service provider.
