SCR slot request builder

Build a draft SCR (slot clearance request) in the IATA SSIM Chapter 6 layout for a coordinated airport. Review it, then send it to the coordinator from your usual channel.

Header

Message date must be in DDMMM format, e.g. "09OCT".

Draft for coordinator review. Not submitted and not a slot allocation.

Limitations
  • This produces a draft message only. Nothing is sent, and a draft is not a slot: only the airport coordinator can allocate or confirm slots.
  • Coordinators may require additional fields, a specific reference, or their own online system — check the coordinator's instructions before sending.
  • Times are UTC. Days of operation use 1 = Monday to 7 = Sunday, with 0 for non-operating days.
  • General and business aviation at many airports uses GCR or an online portal instead of SCR — LFS can arrange it for you.

SCR layout used here

Header SCR, optional /reference, season (S or W plus year), message date (DDMMM) and the coordinated airport's IATA code, followed by one data line per flight: action code and arrival flight, departure flight, period, days of operation, seats and aircraft type, origin and arrival time, departure time and next station, and service type. Optional SI lines carry supplementary information.
